A community town in the heart
of Leicestershire

Market Street, Ashby de la Zouch

Ashby’s Statutes fair takes place annually in September.  The Pat Collins Fun Fairs visit to the town opens on a Friday and runs through to Tuesday.

Market Street and Brook Street is closed to traffic for the duration of the fair and a one way system is in operation along Derby Road, North Street, South Street and Bath Street, as the mix of modern and traditional rides for all the family takes over the town – as it has every September since it was started by Charter of Henry III in 1260, as a gift to the then-Lord of the Manor, Alan La Zouch.
