NOTICE OF MEETING – EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE.

I hereby give notice that the next meeting of the above Committee will be held in Legion House, South Street, Ashby de la Zouch LE65 1BQ on MONDAY 1st APRIL 2019 at 6.30pm.

All members of the Committee are hereby summonsed to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out below.

To receive apologies for absence.

 

2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION.

Members of the public may ask questions, make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of the business on the agenda.

To receive any Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

To receive any requests for Dispensations in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

8. CORRESPONDENCE RE ASHBY’S MARKET CHARTER                 

To receive and note correspondence from the ACTC Chairman and A Freedom of Information Request regarding the Ashby Market Charter.

9. DRAFT DEBT COLLECTION POLICY.                                                  

To recommend the draft debt collection policy for approval to the Finance Committee.

10. CORRESPONDENCE FROM EVANS COLORADO.                              

To receive and note correspondence from History Colorado regarding its trip to Ashby in November 2019.

11. STREATFOOD SOCIAL FESTIVAL.                                                        

To consider a request from StrEATfood Social for an event on the Bath Grounds on Saturday 10th August 2019.
Annex 5.

 

12. HONORARY FREEMAN & HONORARY FREEWOMAN.                   

To recommend that a special meeting of the Town Council is convened to consider a motion that Mr Anthony Harris (Snr) and Mrs Harris are conferred with the title ‘Honorary Freeman’ and ‘Honorary Freewoman’ of the town in recognition of the service that they and their family have rendered to the town over many years with the annual Statutes Fair on the 800th anniversary of the fair in September 2019.
